12.06.2016More of a leave in conditioner than a volumizer. I have past shoulder length hair that is chemically treated. I need styling products that will plump up my thin strands without making my scalp oily or irritated. I tried the Bosley Professional Strength Volumizing & Thickening Nourishing Leave-In and found it to be heavy for my fine hair. I used a dime sized amount mid-shaft to ends and still found it masklike on my hair. I think the product is meant to coat the hair strands and protect and nourish it. There are starch and protein in the ingredients so these act like fillers on the cuticle. If you have medium to coarse hair, this may work better for you. For anyone with delicate strands like me, you can use this as a leave-in conditioner at home but not so much as a volumizer or styler.
